The September Summit a success

More than 50 guests filled TradeTech's offices on Thursday 10 September at the Summit, an inspirational evening focused on Business Intelligence, co-hosted by TradeTech Consulting and Insight Solutions. We dare say that the pre-announced energy boost was delivered.

Tomas Johansson, COO of TradeTech Consulting, guided us through the evening as moderator. First out were Joakim Wiener and Max Persson, CEOs of TradeTech Consulting and Insight Solutions, who introduced their companies very briefly. It was then time for the first star of the evening, Håkan Smeds of Skanska Financial Services to gracefully share the lessons learned along the way of working with BI.

More advice followed from Graeme Newcomb, BI expert from TradeTech, who told us what to think about to avoid the most common pitfalls when engaging in a BI project. Max Persson, CEO of Insight Solutions, added his perspective based on years of experience from a wealth of businesses and BI projects.

After learning from the past, it was time for a sneak peek of the future provided by Göran Adlén, trend analyst and writer. He took us on a journey starting with the Dutch Tulip Bulb Mania of the 1600s, via the super economy that's right around the corner, into the Guacamole economy of the 21st century. Exciting stuff!

Buzzing with energy and brimming with inspiration, it was time to tackle a delicious buffet provided and served by the very professional Carotte Catering.
